I’m going to say something that’s apparently considered heresy in this community

Yes, Fabsol is an asshole. I’m not going to defend him. But most of you aren’t much better than he is.

You’re just a bunch of kids who act like this is your first day on the internet.

Believe it or not, even the most awful and “phobic” opinions have a right to exist.

And you didn’t just decide to distance the project from one person -- you decided to erase an entire era of Calamity because of the shitty decisions of one individual, whose identity was already separate from the mod itself aside from a few references.

An author’s creative vision that shapes their work is not the same thing as their personal views about the world and its issues. Apparently your nervous systems are too simple to grasp that basic truth. Though honestly, there’s no point blaming you for it -- evolution doesn’t work evenly.

At the snap of a finger you all started pretending that Fabsol never mattered, and that idea harms the project more than anything he ever did.

History doesn’t become cleaner when you erase parts of it and rewrite it just because you have the power to do so.

It just becomes dishonest.
