How I created 3 technical flange animations + 20+ product renders in Blender

Original Content Showcase

I recently worked on a technical animation project for Pfeiffer Vacuum, visualizing three different flange systems in action.

## What this is

The goal was to clearly show how each flange system functions — assembly, sealing mechanisms, and structural differences — in a way that’s easy to understand for engineers and customers. Alongside the animations, I produced 20+ high‑resolution product renderings for print brochures.

## The Technical Challenge

The biggest challenge was precision and clarity:

- Accurate mechanical movement (no “fake” motion)

- Clean exploded views and cutaways

- Realistic materials for stainless steel and sealing components

- Print-ready stills with consistent lighting across all variants

Since these are technical products, everything had to feel exact and trustworthy — not just visually pleasing.

## Workflow / Stack

- Modeling based on CAD references

- Precise keyframe animation for assembly sequences

- Controlled lighting setup for consistent brochure renders

- Cycles for high-quality product visuals

- Separate animation setups optimized for clarity and timing

The focus was on readable motion, clean shading, and technical accuracy rather than flashy effects.
