On awareness, existence, and meaning
I think about life often, and my thoughts usually arrive at the same place.
Everything seems to be one. Every atom, every particle—just different forms of the same existence.
What makes us different is awareness.
As humans, we are able to observe, feel, and question this existence.
In me, there are two ways of seeing this.
One side is poetic—it sees awareness as something beautiful, something to experience deeply.
The other side is philosophical—it feels like nature is just a process, not something we control or give meaning to.
So I wonder… if we are not in control, and everything simply unfolds,
why do we attach so much importance to things?
Sometimes I feel a quiet stillness behind everything.
Not sadness, not happiness… just a calm, almost like a peaceful nothing.
I don’t know if this makes sense…
but does anyone else experience life this way?
