Need Help Recovering Email – Locked Out of Yahoo Mail – Don’t Know Password & MFA Code Sent to Old Saudi Number (No Longer Accessible)

Hi everyone,

I’m in a really difficult situation and hoping someone here might have advice.

I’m locked out of my Yahoo Mail account.

Here’s the situation:

• I no longer remember the password.
• The recovery / MFA verification code is being sent to a STC Saudi phone number I used while living there as an expatriate.
• I’ve moved out of Saudi Arabia.
• The number has been reassigned to someone else.
• I no longer have access to that SIM or number.

So at this point:

• I can’t reset the password.
• I can’t receive the verification code.
• I’m completely locked out.

I was thinking of the possibility of someone reaching out locally to the current user of that number, explain the situation and convince them to share the verification code so i can login and switch it to a number that is in my use. I am trying to recover it as i have other accounts which i am locked out of as well that were linked to this email.

Or if anyone has any other good ideas.
