🌟 Have fun, make memories, and let the stories inspire you! 🌟 And after I finish summer anime list I'll begin my post summer anime list: You’ve watched a LOT, and your taste is very clear: 🌸 romance + emotion, 🌙 introspection, 🎭 psychological depth, with occasional chaos. So I’ll only recommend anime NOT on your watched list and NOT on your planned lists.

I’ll split this into perfect-fit tiers so it’s easy to choose 👇

🌸 TIER 1 — “Made for You” (Emotional / Romance / Gentle Pain)

These match A Silent Voice, Josee, Tsuki ga Kirei, Insomniacs, Horimiya energy.

⭐ Top Picks

  1. Just Because! – realistic high school romance, quiet regret, very you

  2. Bloom Into You – introspective, slow, emotionally intelligent romance

  3. White Album 2 – beautiful but painful love triangle (no cheap drama)

  4. After the Rain – subtle, mature, melancholic atmosphere

  5. The Garden of Sinners (movies) – dark romance + philosophy + mood

🌙 TIER 2 — Psychological / Existential (Since you liked Lain, Perfect Blue, Eva)

These aren’t jump-scare horror — they mess with your head.

⭐ Top Picks

  1. Haibane Renmei – quiet existential sadness, healing, meaning of life

  2. Texhnolyze – bleak, slow, nihilistic (watch when you’re mentally ready)

  3. Sonny Boy – abstract, philosophical, youth & identity

  4. Kaiba – looks cute, emotionally devastating underneath

  5. Boogiepop Phantom – fragmented psychological horror

🎬 TIER 3 — Movies You’ll Almost Certainly Love

Given your insane movie history, these are criminally missing.

⭐ Must-Watch Movies

  1. The Night Is Short, Walk On Girl – surreal romance + youth energy

  2. Tekkonkinkreet – raw, emotional, artistic masterpiece

  3. Pompo the Cinephile – love letter to filmmaking (you’ll appreciate this)

  4. Penguin Highway – coming-of-age + mystery + warmth

  5. The Place Promised in Our Early Days – early Shinkai, pure longing

⚔️ TIER 4 — Action with Meaning (Not Brain-Dead Shonen)

Since you enjoyed AoT, Vinland, Edgerunners.

⭐ Strong Picks

  1. Ping Pong the Animation – character growth + philosophy (GOAT tier)

  2. Dororo – emotional journey, humanity, loss

  3. Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit – mature fantasy, calm pacing

  4. Ergo Proxy – cyberpunk existential mystery

  5. Berserk (1997) – only if you’re ready for pain

So don't recommend any animes that I already watched and the ones that I'm planning to watch (i.e., pre summer anime list, summer anime list, post summer anime list). I love every genre as long as it is overall good. TYSM :D.
