I'll be honest — I almost didn't post this.

I've been sitting on this idea for months. Kept telling myself it wasn't ready. The animation needed work. The script wasn't perfect. The thumbnail could be better.

Then I realized I was doing exactly what the video is about.

Waiting for the perfect moment that never comes.

So I posted it anyway.

The channel is called Dren Finance. Animated personal finance content for people who earn decent money but still feel like they're drowning. No talking heads. No "just stop buying coffee" nonsense. Just clean cartoon breakdowns of why most people who earn decent salaries still end up with nothing to show for it.

The first video follows two people — same job, same city, same $55,000 salary. Five years later their lives look completely different. Not because one worked harder. Not because one got lucky. Because of one small decision made in month one that took four minutes to set up.

I'm genuinely proud of what I built. But I'm also a first-time creator who has no idea if the hook lands, if the pacing works, or if the thumbnail makes people want to click.

So I'm asking for honest feedback from people who actually understand YouTube.

Watch it, tear it apart, tell me what's broken:

And if it genuinely helps you think differently about money — even a little — that's everything I was trying to do.

I just posted my first video on YouTube 🥳
