Should I invite my dad to my graduation ?

I have one more year left until I graduate high school but my dad has brought up the question if he could come out and I don’t know what to say so I have been avoiding by saying to talk to my mom about it.

My dad has not been there for the majority of my life. He has not been there for my birthdays, Thanksgiving, or even Christmas he just sends me money. I have tried calling him multiple times but he would never answer and I get we have different times zones and stuff but I would call him then go see that he would be hanging out with his other family on Instagram and I was jealous.

I tried flying out to where he lived but he was always busy and I get that I told him a few weeks before I would fly out there but I told him I was going to be out there for 2 months. We only had a fauther daughter date once when I was out there for those 2 months and he never hanged out after that but when I looked at his instagram he was at his son’s baseball game it it hurt.

In general he has never once flew out here in 17 years and I hate it. There was a reason incident where he tried to take me but I’m hearing two different stories where he tried to take me because my mom was dealing with drugs and then and then I am hearing from my mom that he kidnapped me. I don’t know full story because my mom hasn’t told she just said that he kidnapped me.

When I talk to him now it just feels dry when I have to call him he never picks up the phone I’m the one that always has to do it. At the end of the dad I don’t know what to do because I feel like I don’t even have an actual relationship with my dad. So should I invite him to my graduatio?
