How can I post in the chat groups I joined?

I joined some of the groups that I find interesting and wanted to be involved with the chats. But when I went to post, it deleted my post and said I didn’t have enough reddit points.

I would like to be able to join in and chat because not many people I know share my hobbies.

Thank you friends :)
