Sardinia

Sardinia with a new born

Just wondering if anyone has travelled to Sardinia with a new born (less than 6 months).

Will be heading over to UK from Melbourne & would like to get a European trip in while the little one is still a potato. Can fly direct from London to Northern part of Sardinia but want somewhere easy where renting a car isnt a must & nice beaches etc with easy access.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Either Sardinia or Mallorca (my preference is Sardinia)
