March event calendar event @ Offline Café (bingo, tournament, quiz night...)

Hej hej!

We’ve been busy behind the scenes prepping some fun events for the community next month at Offline Café. If you’re looking for a reason to get out of the house in March, we’d love to have you join us.

You can book a spot on our website (offlinecafe.se/bookings) or find us on Meetup (meetup.com/offline-cafe-events/events). Here’s what’s coming up:

• Friday, March 6th (18:00): Bingo & Beer. For 150 kr, you can get 1 drink of your choice (beer included), two snacks, and three bingo cards. We’re giving away a bunch of small prizes like free gaming passes, café merch, and candy.
• Wednesday, March 11th (18:00): Learn & Play: Root. If you’ve wanted to try Root but the rulebook feels like a lot, we’ve got a staff member from SF-Bokhandeln coming in to teach the game and share some winning strategies. 70 kr to participate. (Link coming soon, check our website or follow us on FB or Meetup to stay in the loop!)
• Thursday, March 12th (17:00): King’s Gambit Chess Tournament. Our second tournament! We have 8 people signed up so far but still plenty of spots left. There will be medals for the top 3 and participation prizes for everyone else. 100 kr to enter.
• March 20th (18:00): Fun Facts & Useless Knowledge Quiz. Our 6th quiz night is here! This one is all about science, history, and pop culture facts that are totally fun and useless until they help you win. Prizes will be given out to 1st and 2nd place teams. Come solo or with friends, we’ll form teams when you get here. 70 kr to play.
• March 26th (18:00): Learn & Play: Tzolk'in. We’re hosting a session for Tzolk'in to teach the mechanics and how to build a strategy. If you're into the Mayan calendar and worker placement games, come join us! 70 kr to participate.

If none of those are your vibe, you can always just swing by for open board gaming Wednesday through Sunday with your friends. All events are hosted in English.

Hope to see some of you there! :)
