Considering joining the military to improve my chances of being a cop. I’m male 22 and I think I’m getting non selected because of my work history could I get advice on what you would do in my situation. So my employement is I was a lifeguard for a summer. Worked at raising canes for 8 months and was stupid in high school and called in for stupid things so I had gotten fired for attendance. I then got a job at a restaurant I worked there for 8 months before I gave my two weeks to be a leader at a Christan camp for the summer to follow my faith it was supposed to be a job for the summer but I had to leave because I had an incident with a kid who didn’t follow instructions or listening on the archery range and when I was picking up arrows I had been shot in the abdomen so that job ended early. Then got a job at vons where I worked there for two years has given my notice because I found a job a lot closer to home worked there for 7 months where I left because it was a extremely toxic environment and found something with better hours and pays more.what would you do in my situation? Should I call it quits or keep on trying for different departments I’ve also never touched drugs, alcohol or smoked and no convictions one speeding ticket and no run in’s with the law please give you’re opinions what you would do thank you.
