PCP looking to relocate somewhere new. (Outside Alberta)
Albertan PCP with six years of EMS experience on ambulance, both working on BLS and ALS car’s. Primarily remote or rural, in Northern and central Alberta. (Currently registered in good standing with the ACOP)
My partner and I have been discussing a move, she is self employed and runs her own business. We are looking for a change in scenery and I was curious which provinces or territories are looking for experienced PCP’s. We’re most most comfortable with rural or small town living, and I’m comfortable with 24 hour shifts and coreflex.
We’ve considered the maritime or out east but I’m not sure what the hiring situation is like and if living is affordable or not. (We’d want to rent to start).
Looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say, and if this is realistic or not.
