Somehow broke my Prius

I made previous post about my Prius, it may be relevant so I'll briefly run it down: On 2007 Prius my battery was dead. Called someone to jump the car, and as they did that I somehow managed to leave the keyfob in the car, partially closed the door, and when the battery was juiced the doors locked leaving the key inside the car. At this point the car appeared to be juiced but the door locked with the keys inside the car.

Now I call a tow truck to unlock my car. He was using some long hanger-type tool and quickly unlocked my car. Not sure what he did but he managed to unlock the doors. I jumped the car because it was dead again, and drove home.

At home, after I parked in the garage I realized the keyfob will not lock the doors. The physical button on the door will not lock or unlock the doors. It's like all of a sudden they don't work. What would cause the physical button on the door to stop working all of a sudden and also the keyfob will not unlock the doors, all at the same time. The car battery is fine, I am able to start the car and drive it. Just not the locks or the lock buttons or the keyfob.

I tried the little button under the steering wheel, that does not help my situation.

What did I do? what can I do?
