RUSD lack of transportation

I want to know how we can start a movement. We are RUSD, and the district provides no transportation to-and-from school.

First of all, the drop-off and pick-up I’m effing INSANE. So many cars; so little traffic direction. My kids’ school

Was built in like ‘58. Even after they added a second parking lot, there’s nowhere to park. It’s dangerous. Kids, motorists, and crossing guards have all been hit by cars.

On top of that- it makes it difficult to get to work. We all have to drop our kids off and then race to get to work on time. It limits job opportunities because we have to work working a certain radius of our home because we can’t drop the kids off until 7:15 a.m. how am I supposed to get to work by 8???

How do we change this? I’ve complained to the district and the transportation director. My kids are too young to walk to school alone, and if they did, they would have to walk past TWO registered sex offenders houses who offended children need children.

We need to compel the district to bring back buses. How do we do that??
