What does UoP and UNLV value in applicants?

I know schools have different values for applicants like UCSF which is research heavy. Does UoP or UNLV value anything in their applicants the most? I heard they value a strong PAT score specifically, but do they also value things like dental assistant experience since they are known to produce clinically experienced general dentists?
