How Does ProctorTrack Work?

When you take an exam using ProctorTrack, the software creates a secure digital testing environment on your computer. Before the test begins, you may be asked to:

• Verify your identity
• Scan your room using your webcam
• Show your desk area
• Close unauthorized programs

During the exam, ProctorTrack monitors your activity to help prevent cheating. The system records and analyzes different behaviors, including:

• Eye movement
• Facial expressions
• Audio levels and background noise
• Computer screen activity and open applications

If the system detects unusual or suspicious behavior, it may flag the session for further review. In many cases, flagged recordings are later reviewed by trained human proctors to determine whether any exam rules were actually violated.
