20 With 260k in med debt.

(M 20) Hey all. I was in an accident and i was unknowingly uninsured when medicaid stopped my insurance 2 months prior. I ended up in the hospital for a week. They said they were going to cover it when I was there and promised my parents they would. It’s been 6 months later and I got a letter saying i have 260k in debt. What’s the best course of action here.
