India Trip

I'm sorry if this is not the right place for this, but I am looking for Vedanta-specific advice and it seems like some of you have been to India and are fond of Swami Paramarthananda and Swami Dayananda So maybe you guys have tips!

I will be going to Chennai in mid March and will stay for a week. I will attend Swami Paramarthananda's classes. I visited him for the first time a few months ago and I loved his teaching. In late March, I will move on to Tapovan and will stay there for a week before starting a Vedanta camp in Swami Dayananda's ashram in Rishikesh (1 week too). It will be my second time in the ashram.

Are there any Vedanta-related recommendations you guys have for my stay in Chennai or Tapovan?? Things I am looking forward to:

CHENNAI

  • Swami Paramarthananda's classes
  • Book stores (I want to get Mantra Puspam, I would like to get a small Gita version for chanting, and I would like to get small, children books with stories associated with ramayana, mahabharata, and the different devas/devis)
  • Visiting Temples (suggestions are appreciated)

RISHIKESH

  • Taking all the classes during the Rishikesh camp
  • Chanting Ganga Stotram next to Ganga
  • Visit temples (suggestions are appreciated)
  • Ashram's book store so I get some Swami Dayananda books

I highly, highly appreciate any thoughts you have! Thank you so much!
