My boss said my performance review depends on how 'flexible' I am... so I just said yes.

I’m 23, a high school dropout, and I’ve been working as a junior admin for about a year. I know I’m not smart. I’m just the girl who files the papers and gets everyone’s lunch. I’ve always felt invisible because I don't have a degree like the other women here

Lately, my boss has been making me do 'extra' tasks. Yesterday, he told me my uniform was 'distracting the real workers' and made me stand against the wall while he adjusted my skirt, pulling it higher so it was 'neat.' He stayed there for a long time, breathing right against my neck. I just stood there like a good girl because I didn't want to get fired.

Today, he called me into his private office and told me that since I’m not 'intellectually gifted,' I need to make myself 'physically useful' to the firm. He made me sit on his desk while he 'inspected' my legs for bruises, saying I’m too clumsy to be left unsupervised.

He said if I want to keep my paycheck, I have to be his 'personal tool' during late shifts. I don't really know what that means, but I just nodded because he’s so much smarter than me. I’m sitting at my desk now, waiting for the office to empty out. He told me not to wear any underwear tomorrow so he can 'check my posture' easier. Is this just how office jobs are? I feel so small and obedient... I think I’m just meant to be used by men like him.
