If there were no arcan'dor, could the blood elves have saved the nightborne with the sunwell?

The sunwell probably has a lot of spare energy capacity, since the sunwell used to sustain 10x as many elves (90% of the high elves were wiped out by the scourge).

Do you think it's possible a ritual could have been done to atune the nightborne to the sunwell so they don't die without the nightwell?
