2012 Toyota Mark X GRX130 – Intermittent EPS Failure & Blown Fuse.
Greetings everyone,
I’m currently experiencing an intermittent power steering issue with my 2012 Toyota Mark X (GRX130).
I’ve already troubleshot the steering rack and inspected the wiring to the EPS module. During testing, I discovered fluctuating voltage at the EPS fuse. It doesn’t stay stable at 12V and appears to drop around 9V intermittently. Because of this, the EPS fuse keeps blowing.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue with the GRX130? What could cause unstable voltage at the EPS fuse? Could this be a failing EPS module, a bad relay, grounding issue, or possibly a short in the wiring harness?
Any guidance on where to test next would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
