Sire V5 vs V7

Hello everyone. I found some threads about these two basses, but none answered my question, so I'm kindly asking you.

I'm in the market for a new bass, and Sire caught my attention. I've been looking at either the V5 or V7. The price difference isn't enormous, but I'm not quite sure what to order.

I don't really care about my bass being active (I already have an active one), so... is there any significant difference between them, besides one being active and the other being passive?
