It’s a lazy Sunday afternoon, the kind where time seems to slow down. The apartment is quiet except for the occasional sound of the rain tapping against the window. Jesse and I are curled up together on the couch, wrapped in a cozy blanket. We've just finished watching a few episodes of our favorite show, and now we're lounging, enjoying each other's company in the soft glow of the afternoon light.

I've always had felt a sense of comfort when I was with Jesse, a feeling of safety I didn’t fully understand. There was something about her nurturing nature—her ability to take charge, make decisions, and care for me in the smallest of ways—that always put me at ease. What started as a simple attraction was slowly morphing into something deeper, something unexpected.

I put off talking to her about what she makes me feel for a very long time, but today I wanted to bring it up. After spending a few nervous minutes sitting next to her, I pluck up the courage to address the issue that has been on my mind for a long time.
