Kiwis who have gotten DSP

hi, I applied for DSP back in October, and I called them today to see if there was an update because it's been a while since I last heard anything (I've done the JCA and had my sonic appointment) and they told me it was the international visa team and may be denied. I'm an Australian citizen, I became a citizen near the end of 2023, and I have been living continuously in Australia since 2012, I was on a non protected special category before becoming a citizen. has anyone who gained citizenship from a non protected gotten past this stage and been approved? trying to see what my odds are now.
