Anyone else find hotels stressful with food allergies?

I’m a parent of kids with food allergies and planning hotels always feels harder than it should.

I know Airbnb can be easier since you control food, but a vacation for me includes a break from cooking :)

For those who’ve traveled with food allergies, how do you handle hotels? What’s worked (or not worked) for you?
