Gluteal tendinopathy with different than normal symptoms
Hi, I’ve been diagnosed with gluteal tendinopathy, but my symptoms seem to be a bit different to everything I’ve read, and was wondering if anyone else could relate. The pain is constant, except when I manage some sleep. I have throbbing pain on the bony part of hip, groin pain and pain in the SI Joint area. However if I walk, the pain settles down to nearly nothing. Everything I’ve read from other people says pain increases on walking. I can’t sit down for more than 10 minutes without being in extreme pain in hip and all through pelvis and lower back. Has anyone had these sort of symptoms, if so, how did you treat it (I discovered it doesn’t like stretching excercise the PT gave me), and how long did your recovery take please?
