cleared to swim - how do y'all get to the water?!

hey! i'm 3 months post-fracture, FWB, but my ortho still has me wearing the boot in public. i have a brace for wearing around the house, but how do you safely get to the water at the public pool? do you have someone help you? the pool near me is somewhat busy, and i'm so nervous about slipping
