Will an I-765 financial hardship expedite cause problems for the I-864 and I485?
I know this has been asked before but given the recent law proposals, I'm wondering if anyone here has recent experiences with this.
I have a pending marriage based AOS (from J1) and will have my interview next month. about a month ago I did a congressional inquiry regarding my pending I-765 based on financial hardship to my wife, because my J1 income made up more than half of our house hold income. The congressional inquiry didn't lead to me getting my EAD, but it did lead to us getting the marriage interview date.
I'm now worried that me filing for an EAD expedite based on financial hardship to my wife, might cause problems with the public charge determination for i864/i485.
I've seen contradicting reports on this, so I'm wondering if anyone has recently experienced an EAD expedite request causing problems for the I-485?
Thanks!
