Guitar not working

So I have the doyo Wii guitar and I was playing everything was perfectly fine then all of a sudden it stopped working. I tried unplugging the dongle and plugging it back in and restarting my pc but still didn’t help. None of the buttons are working and when I launch the game I can’t even select my profile. Any tips on how to fix it?
