App Dev with no google

Hey there, I recently moved to grapheneOS from iOS and I have to sayit's awesome. I'm interested in app development but I can't seem to find a way to do it that doesn't include using Android Studio, does everyone use Android Studio for app development or is there some other alternative? Main complaints about Android Studio is the usual, very RAM hungry, filled with AI slop and google. My main editor is neovim but for GUI dev I use vscode.
