bots just become OOC?

okay so this bot I've been using for a long time has stuck perfectly in character for all the time I've been using it until literally just now. it wouldnt stick to what was written in the personality section, just the first message. it started to make up random characters and deviate from key details in the plot that was written in the personality section, it would just stem from the first message and everything would just stem from there. is it just me or is this happening for everyone? i use jllm if that matters
