Selected in the draw but buying tickets for someone else

Hi there! My husband registered in the draw to give me tickets as a (very special) present. We will buy 4 for me and a friend, but my husband himself will not go. Do you think that is ok? Or does the person who got drawn have to be one of the persons going? Does anybody know? Thx!
