Help with save data

Hello everyone!

I recently saw that the ultimate edition of RDR2 was on sale on the PlayStation store, and decided to purchase it. I already have a physical copy of the standard edition on which I have a 100% save file, and am currently in the middle of a second play through. I only purchased the ultimate edition because I wanted some of the extra content.

Before purchasing I did search to see if my save data would transfer when purchasing the ultimate edition, and the general consensus was that it should transfer, so I went ahead with the purchase. This downloaded a second RDR2 application on my PS, which did not have access to my save data and would only allow me to start a new game from chapter one.

When I searched this issue afterwards I found that the problem could be that the ultimate edition downloaded as a separate game, which it did, and that I should delete the old version and redownload the new one. However, I tried this and it did not work. I also tried redownloading the standard edition, but that did not work either.

The data is still in the console’s storage, I can see my most recent save file as well as my 100% save file. I just cannot get my PlayStation to recognize it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
