Coil-tap tone pot making bridge pup bassy when not engaged?
Hello, I just installed a Titan bridge and Liquifire neck into my ormsby and the liquifire sounds amazing but the Titan, which should be bright and mid-rangey sounds dark and bassy and I don't know why. They are both hooked up to the coil-tap tone pot that the stock pickups were hooked up to and it works but when its off the bridge pickup is too boomy. Is it possible just being attached to the coil-tap that its doing this? Its installed properly and it *is not the pickup height* as I've tried every height at this point.
I dont need to use a coil tap with the bridge so im considering unsoldering it from the coil tap and taping those two wires up if it gets rid of the boominess im getting. Have any of y'all had this happen, or own the Titan bridge?
