Teaching loved ones about our experiences

I recently came out at NB and pan to a couple family members and both cackled at the bizarness of this reality. They are so in their bubbles that it truly didn’t hurt me when they laughed. I guess th only thing I wish they would do is be curious about my experience but either way, I think I want them in my life rn.

So I’m making this post to ask Yall how it went when you came out to blissfully unaware family members. How old were you? What was the context? Are you in a a close relationship with them

Family is soooo iffy these days. For me, but I still yearn for their approval at the end of the day ( something I am working on in therapy)
