I got tired of fitness apps wanting a $15/mo subscription just to log my sets, so I built my own. ROAST ME!

Hey everyone,

Like a lot of folks here, I just wanted a clean, simple way to track my workouts without being bombarded by ads or pushed into a premium subscription every time I opened the app. I tried almost everything out there, and they all felt bloated, expensive, or treated me like a data point.

I'm a college student learning how to code, so I decided to spend my nights and weekends over the last few months building my own solution.

My main goals were:

Make it completely offline-first. Gym basements have terrible Wi-Fi. The app needs to be lightning-fast and work perfectly even with zero signal.

Make it social (but not annoying). I struggle with consistency, so I added a Squad leaderboard. You can create a group with your friends and it scores you purely on showing up and hitting your planned days—not on who lifts the heaviest.

Take the pain out of building routines. If you find a cool workout routine online, in a magazine, or scrawled on a gym whiteboard, you can literally just snap a picture of it. The app will read the text and automatically import the exercises, sets, and reps right into your calendar. (Or, you can just ask it to generate a personalized 7-day split for you from scratch).

I’m running this entirely solo. It’s fully functional, ad-free, and I’m genuinely just looking for feedback from people who actually lift or want to start.

If you're annoyed with your current tracker, or just want to try out a student project, I'd love for you to give it a shot and tell me what you hate (or love) about it so I can make it better.

(Happy to share the app if anyone is interested in trying it out or if you wanna roast me more—just let me know below!)
