External Hard Drive for Series S

I know this has probably been asked already and if so sorry and kindly guide me to the thread. But I'm looking for a good optimized external hd for my series S. I've looked online and i was gonna grab a 2tb western digital from target. But after reading the reviews I'm very skeptical. Does anyone have any recommendations thats not gonna break the wallet but also not break down soon after getting it. Thanks ahead of time
