On the fence of owning one bc attention

I know it's impractical as a daily. I have thought about all the ways this car impractical. Still, I want an ND Miata, however, I'm someone who does not like drawing attention to themselves, specially when living in Mexico.

I've considered on getting a gray soft top ND; compared to a soul red crystal it doesn't scream "look at me", but still...

Has anyone here had a similar thought process? Or is on the fence of getting one? What has been your experience?
