A few days ago, I had announced my candidacy for legislature and promised my campaign platform, and HERE IS IT!

As legislator, I will be focusing on the following issues:

The ongoing Multum flu:

Regarding the flu, I believe a lockdown is necessary, and the implementation of a full lockdown, along with free provision of masks and antigen testers in Eosara during my tenure has proved to be effective in stopping the spreading of the disease, reducing the number of cases from 8000 per day to less than 200 for now. In the future, I will support increased work-at-home policies to minimize the damage that the pandemic has caused on the economy while balancing the health of the citizens. I would also support the free prescription of vaccines if one were to be developed in the future.

Internal Security:

To be frank, I believe our internal security is a mess. We are seeing anarcho-terrorists taking the streets for their own while the current administration is doing absolutely nothing on this while lawmakers are trying to unarm prison guards! I call for an increase in spending for interior security to deal with this matter and setting up a dedicated homeland security force that will be used to protect citizens from terrorists. I understand people have concerns about this move but considering the scale of terrorism and crime in DoR I believe this is a necessary measure and it should be limited to short-term to minimize its effects on the rights of citizens while achieving its goal of eliminating crime.

The Economy:

The economy of DoR is an absolute mess, and we need to end this malarkey as soon as possible. I would suggest a new program of limited job creation along with new welfare provisions that will encourage employment while providing for those that are unable to provide for themselves. I would also support a tax cut for SMEs that will encourage the creation of businesses and stimulate economic development.

Welfare:

The Dorian welfare system is inherently flawed. Every year, more money goes to synthcare rather than healthcare itself, and aspects like education are ignored. Under this circumstance, I believe that it is necessary to deregulate education as the state is unable to provide it given the current fiscal capacity. Moreover, synthcare should be reorganised and incorporated into healthcare.I would also propose a new reform on retirement pensions that will be contributed from employers, employees and the government. I would also support subsidies on products that are fundamental for one’s living, such as food and water.

Fiscal Policies:

I would propose the establishment of a central bank which will be headed by a non-partisan figure that will be responsible for setting the interest rates and exchange rates of the national currency. I would also call for a reduction of tax rates for SMEs with an increased cap for wealth. Moreover, I would support the addition of synth taxes which recognizes the synths’ obligations to pay taxes like regular citizens.

Infrastructure:

Infrastructure is crucial for a nation as both businesses and citizens can benefit from it if it were done with care. I call for the expansion of the national highway system and rail system, along with the construction of airports and industrial zones to boost enterprise, create jobs and improve standard of living. I will also support the construction of new social housing to allow affordable housing for all.

Others:

As many are aware, the government of Multum is attempting to start an act of aggression against the government of Eosara. I strongly speak against this unreasonable act, and I will propose federal intervention against the Multese government if violence is committed.
