Starfleet Academy is Star Trek

The show already had enough good stuff about it, and episodes to remember. But after the last one - The life of the Stars - it feels now so Star Trek in the totality of it all.

I don’t know about everyone, though modern trek gave me those glimpses often, some episodes more than others, but sometimes you had to look for it harder to stay in the feeling.

And Academy after 8 episodes somehow suddenly stands so overwhelmingly Trek, as you if you can sense the whole franchise history behind it. This time around authors found some key to writing, which I found promising and inspiring.
