Kids on a bike

As I continue the search of the entry bike, I am wondering how do folks of at all manage theirs kids on it. I have a 5 year old that I take to school every morning in the way to work. What are tips to make this a good writing experience for them and of course, most importantly safe other than them having their own helmet and stuff like that. Thank you in advance. Also Embury recommendations for the entry bike into the world of motorcycles. I’d appreciate it.
