[M4F] 24 - Our old continent feels different lately. I’m not sure what to make of it - Session: below
I’ve seen this topic here and thought about this few times already and I still don’t know if it sounds wrong.
I’m not trying to debate immigration or convince anyone of anything. I don’t even know what I think about it most days. I just notice things.
Different languages in places that used to sound familiar. New faces in neighborhoods I’ve known for years. Small changes in how people interact, or don’t.
Sometimes it feels normal. Sometimes it feels unclear. And I can’t tell if that’s just me overthinking.
I don’t talk about this in real life. Not because I have some extreme opinion — I don’t. If anything, I probably avoid forming one. I tend to observe and stay quiet. Maybe that’s insecurity. Maybe it’s caution. I don’t know.
I’m curious how other European women experience this shift. Not in a loud way. Just personally. Day-to-day. What feels different, what doesn’t, what you ignore, what you adapt to.
This might come across the wrong way. I’m aware of that. I’m not trying to be provocative. If you feel like you’ve also had thoughts you never fully shaped into words, maybe we can try to put them into words together.
