How Epstein Operation was similar to DEVILCORPS of mordern day pyramid scams.

Information

The structure of Jeffrey Epstein’s recruitment network closely mirrors a pyramid scheme.

He and Ghislaine Maxwell targeted vulnerable underage girls with offers of easy money like the same with DEVILCORPS. After being brought in, some were paid to recruit other girls. That’s the key pyramid mechanic: participants are incentivized to expand the network themselves.

Instead of cold recruitment, it relied on peer trust, friends recruiting friends OR total strangers who they deem weak and vulnerable and which lowered suspicion and normalized what was happening. As the network grew, it created layers that insulated the top. Epstein didn’t have to directly recruit everyone; the structure scaled itself.

The durability of the operation wasn’t accidental. It was built on decentralized recruitment, financial incentives, and social pressure, the same structural principles that make pyramid schemes grow while protecting leadership.
