What are effective ways to make money when you have a packed schedule?
I am going to college very soon, majoring in nutrition with my eyes set on an RD certification within the next 10 years. With what I've been hearing about the state of the job market, I am very concerned about going broke after getting my undergrad, on the assumption I don't get a job in my field right after I get my bachelors. I don't have an acutal job right now since I don't have a car, but I do some work for a family member which pays between 20-100 a week. I am already setting myself up with a HYSA & learning how to invest, and I already know how to budget since my frugal family was very heavy on teaching that. Getting the money to put into those things is where I'm worried- I don't think that a part-time job alongside my college classes will be enough.
So what actions can I take now and over the next four years to make money when I'm not working my part time job and am strained mentally between maintaining a social life and passing class? I'm willing to do whatever, but I also know burning myself out could result in worse outcomes over time. I really don't want to go into adult life without a game plan that will let me hit the ground running.
