Interested in Buddhism.

Hello peace be upon you everybody, Im a 18 year old male from the middle east Im a closeted ex muslim for my own safety, Im right now agnostic/atheist (not sure 100%), Im interested in Buddhism, I want to know how can I become a Buddhist? Is there something I do or say to convert? Just to note im not very serious in my faith I do not believe in recincarnation, I dont have much knowledge in Buddhism im only looking to convert because of the freedom in Buddhism and the peace and to also find a loving community which gives meaning to my life, Im sorry if I offended some, I dont mean to , educate me please.
