can I bring food into his melbourne concert?

sorry it’s my first ever concert and I have GA tickets. I was wondering if I could buy a burger or sushi and bring it into the concert with me? or is external food not allowed? ALSO,, for the people who went to his Thursday concert, did they check your ID against your ticket or just scan your barcode?
