Can DSA cover guarantor costs?

Hi guys,

I plan to go to university away from home and I have a very close family friend who goes to a nearby university to my planned one. She is also my carer and has helped me numerous times and has helped my family when it came to me. We have to use private university accommodation for us to live together which means I require a guarantor. However, I have no one to act as one so I have to use a third party service which is out of my budget. I’m applying for DSA due to medical conditions, autism/adhd and mental health conditions. I was wondering if DSA can cover the costs for a guarantor service and if so how should I go about doing this?
