Are you more likely to be noticed by employers if you apply while in Qatar under a family visit visa as opposed to applying from outside Qatar?
A while ago, I applied for data analyst and business intelligence roles in Qatar just for fun while I was still in my home country, but I never heard back from any employers.
Soon, I’ll be returning to Qatar on a family visit visa sponsored by my dad, right after I finish my notice period at my current company.
I’m curious, if I apply for these roles while I’m in Qatar, and my resume lists a Doha address and a Qatari phone number, would I be more likely to get noticed by employers, or would it make no difference?
