Non Kindle Recommendations

I currently have 11th gen paperwhite. I have only ever had a kindle. I didn’t realize until recently there were so many other places to get books that it has peeked my interest. It also only recently dawned on me I don’t “own” my books on kindle. I still want to have access to kindle unlimited but want to open my horizon.

From what I have found it seems an android based system is the way to go but I could be wrong. I am not crazy techie but would be willing to figure it out.

What are some recommendations?

My requirements are:

•under $300

•no color

•not bigger than my current kindle

•smaller would be be nice

•not to heavy in the hands (I have bad arthritis)

•battery life not a deal breaker but would prefer a few days in between charging
