Is Ballastic being slept on?

He has one of the lowest pick rates and I've even heard YouTubers say how he just doesn't "fit in anywhere."

I've been playing him for the last 2 days. Mostly was a random pick to do 10 games as an assault class challange. I've been playing him in Platinum III and he's nearly gotten me into Plat II.

After these 2 days I don't understand the criticism and low pick. Because I've been shredding with him. Won a few games and been kill leader quite a lot. His tactical tilts almost any 1v1 into a guaranteed win. And his ult paired with something like a Rampage or Havoc has also won me many fights.

I'm not a monster at the game. I've achieved Diamond II here and there but I usually peak at Diamond IV.

My take from these last 2 days is that he is almost definitely slept on.
